Raised in North Rast Scotland C.J. is an up and coming writer of queer genre fiction. Their short horror stories have been published in multiple outlets, while their current focus is on more ambitious fantasy tales. C.J. hopes to bring a new queer, revolutionary and deeply human perspective to the modern fantasy space.

C.J.'s short story The Dawning was featured in Popshot Quarterly's last edition Solar. A supernatural horror tale about a series of archaeologists who uncover the corpse of an angel and choose to destroy it to protect their secular world from the divine consequences of its existence. However the ancient remains are not as dead as they first thought...

Heaven Has a Half Life is romantasy tale set upon a city at the end of the world. Surrounded by a gnawing darkness the Soul of Spring summons a new sun each day to push back the nothingness and keep their city alive. But within them a loneliness festers, and across the city hearts begin to entangle. Lust, passion and envy collide, throwing the city into chaos as its residents yearn for the human connection that makes life worth living, even at the end of everything.

In a world of endless autumns, titanic serpents and magical threads, The Last Sparrows is a dark fantasy story that follows a broken family at the end of an empire. As the old world dies and a new one is born, the House of Sparrows finds themselves at the heart of their realms collapse. Three siblings must each carve their own bloodstained future out of the horror of the present. Yet to survive the Sparrows will choose sides that pit them against eachother, as old grudges inspire new violence.
